After the screening a local cinematographer will conduct a lively demonstration of the art of cinematography. Students will have the chance to view and select camera shots to convey specific meaning.

 
Wednesday, February 8, 9:00 & 11:00
After the screening, a local film editor will lead students through the editing process, allowing them to participate, in a lively, interactive session, in the actual editing of a film.

 
Thursday, February 9, 9:00 & 11:00
After the screening, local musicians will lead a lively, interactive investigation of the important role music plays in filmmaking. Students will have the chance to hear and evaluate different types of music for selected film footage.

 
Friday, February 10, 9:00 & 11:00
After the screening, a local foley artist will conduct a lively interactive demonstration of the use of sound effects in filmmaking. Students will have the opportunity to explore how sound effects are generated and the varied impact they might have on the viewer.
